From the breakfast bar to the landing strip

When they became partners with Zurich Airport, they were the first to pull up with a fleet of hydrogen cabs (check out the case). From that day on, Airport Taxi Zurich refused to relinquish its pioneer status. Their most recent idea: a smart booking tool for hotels.

Booking a ride with Airport Taxi Zurich has always been a piece of cake. We made sure of that from the very beginning by providing a nifty booking tool and a dedicated application. But Airport Taxi Zurich wouldn't be Airport Taxi Zurich if it didn't aim to deliver on the needs of all target groups. Which is why we needed a smart solution for airlines and hotels that book taxi rides for their guests on a daily basis. Enter the Hotel Booking Tool.

The new tool allows hotels and airlines to book taxis fully autonomously. They are provided with their own custom portal that is tailored to their needs. For example, if a hotel wants to register the room number and flight number of its guests, its customized tool is given these exact input fields.

Hotels and airlines get a ready-made product, while Airport Taxi Zurich is able to independently customize the settings in the back-end at any time. We have designed the admin interface to be particularly user:friendly, so that Airport Taxi Zurich can define specific wishes of its customers (e.g. settings for child seats or vehicle types) individually.

Using  the Hotel Booking Tool means maintaining an overview of where the passengers are at any given time. Current bookings can be edited or deleted and with each update, emails are automatically sent to the administration at Airport Taxi Zurich, to the hotel or airline and to the passengers themselves. In addition, completed trips are filtered in an archive and can be retrieved again as a list for any time period.

With the new tool, booking a ride becomes a breeze for any hotel. In other words: we program in a way that makes Airport Taxi Zurich manage better, hotels book quicker and passengers board sooner.
