If Matt's life were a video game, it would be one of those adventure games where the curious player discovers unusual items that help him unlock new worlds. First, it's a satellite dish in his parents' house in Slovenia: Numerous international TV shows later and (level up!) the boy now speaks English and German as well as Slovenian. His language skills lead to a degree in Japanese, but that's where the plot twist comes in. While visiting his girlfriend, whose father is a designer, a picture on the wall mesmerizes Matt. The world of design? Forever unlocked. He completes the next levels as if in fast motion; diving headfirst into the world of motion design thanks to a good friend’s production company and later studying to be a designer. When that same friend moves his quest to Switzerland a few years later, Matt soon follows suit. By now, his arsenal of skills is so impressive that the level Sergeant basically welcomes him with open arms. With him on the team, we win every day.
